Matthew Wassink, Sr. Pastor - Overseeing Preaching, Teaching, Caring for the Care Group Leaders, Biblical Counceling. Matthew graduated from Bethel Seminary in 2008 with a Master of Divinity. He served at Sovereign Grace Fellowship in Burnsville, MN as a pastoral intern for 7 months in 2008 before leaving to attend the Sovereign Grace Ministries Pastors College in Gaithersburg, MD. Since graduating from the Pastors College in 2009, Matthew has been a Pastor at Sovereign Grace Fellowship. Matthew and his wife Hannah have two wonderful children, Case and Sadie. Matthew and his family moved to Kansas in March 2011 and he became the Sr. Pastor at Providence Community Church on May 22, 2011. |
Doug Luffman, Pastor - Overseeing Family Life Ministries (Children's, Youth & Singles) Since the very beginning of Providence Community Church Doug has played a key role in our "family life" type ministries as well as the church as a whole. For one to be around Doug for 5 minutes is to be cared for and ministered to. He is a godly man, who by the grace of God married the love of his life, Carla, and together they have five children, Kelsey, Sadie, Joshua, Audrey and Stephen. |
David Quilla, Pastor - Overseeing Church Administration, Biblical Counseling Ministry and Evangelism/Outreach - The Quilla family were members of Sovereign Grace Church of Pasadena for 14 years prior moving to Kansas in 2002 to join the church planting team at Providence. Dave has an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (1982) from Humboldt State University in California and is a graduate of Fuller Theological Seminary (1990) where he earned an MA from the School of World Mission. Dave joined our staff in Oct. 2008 after retiring from a 25 year career in the Computer Software industry. Dave and Pam were married in 1983 and have three godly children; Jamin, Alicia and Nathan. They currently reside in Overland Park. Outside of that he has led an exciting career as an amateur Formula Ford race car driver...and is one of the nicest (and godliest) guys you will ever want to meet. |
