• Practical Suggestions To Grow In Hospitality
Here is just a practical starter list of ideas to help you grow in this most important characteristic of our Christian life and service to one another and to the world around us.  This was taken and adapted from Alexander Stauch's wonderful booklet entitled, "The Hospitality Commands"  We highly recommend this little book!

  • Bible Reading Plans
In this link are several Bible reading plans for you to choose from.  I would encourage you to pick a format and work through it.  I know many of you might have started Bible reading plans and have abandoned them some where around Leviticus (if you are anything like me!)  But may I encourage you to make some type of plan to walk through the Scriptures systematically to benefit from God's word.

  • The Gospel: A Parent's Bible Study Discussion Guide
This is a way for you as a parent to lead your children to a proper understanding of what the Gospel is and what Jesus has done.  It is also formated "apologetically" for you to study these passages in light of what questions these passages answer for an unbeliever.  Have FUN!

  • A Prayer Guide
This is just a very simple guide in communing with our heavenly Father designed to keep you more and more God focused in your prayer life, rather than man-centered and problem-driven.  Don't feel like you have to go through each and every step this is just for you to have some meaningful time with the Lord.

  • How To Develop Your Personal Testimony
This is a guide to help you develop a short and concise testimony that you can share with those you are witnessing to.  It is adapted from the book, "Tell the Truth" by Wil Metzger.  This book is a must read.  It is theologically sound and its methods are biblically motivated.  This book will help serve you to keep your evangelism God-centered, rather than man-centered.  Once you have completed developing a 10-15 minute testimony, try to narrow it down and say it in a more concise way, a 5 min, 1 min, 30 sec. testimony!  Have fun.  Parent's this might make a great family devotional time that you could spend many, many days on.

  • 101 Ways For A Husband To Love His Wife
This is a list of ways in which husbands can grow in cultivating biblical love for their wives.  Husbands after you read this, I would encourage you to show this list to your wife and ask her to pick out the ones she would like you to work on the most!  Have fun!

  • True Love: A Bible Study For Christians
This is a Bible Study adapted from Wayne Mack, a member of CCEF.  This is outstanding!  I have adapted some of the material here for ease of use.  Too often we think we can answer the question, "Am I Loving?" but checking in with our emotions and feelings.  But instead, as Christians how wonderful it is to have God's Word to inform us of what true love really is.  This study will help you do just that as well as give you keys to applying God's word to your own life so that you can grow as a biblically loving Christian.

  • Spurgeon's Catechism
This is a great resource for parents to instruct their children in the basic doctrines of the Christian faith...as well as to use to "cathechize" yourself!
